		<description>Jason, reading your post just days after watching In The Face of Evil for the first time, it was difficult to see past Carter's inability to 'get it' and wonder if he's simply seeking to prove something (e.g. that continuing to exercise diplomacy with those who continuously break promises and promote death and oppression is actually effective).

Regardless of his motives and my feelings on the matter, I was STILL able to see your point (Dave gives himself a pat on the back): 'Get out and do something you feel is good to do!'  And that point, my friend, I agree upon.
