Los Angeles is focusing on an outside-in an their pet projects to try and save the world. I'm sure many of them have good intentions, but their brains are off and they are blind to their own motivations. They disregard individual liberty except as applied to themselves, and they are doing the world a great disservice. The truth is plain and simple: the citizens focusing in that area are being "obese". Then, they are doing "obese" things, like putting crap in to their body every day. Then, they have the conditions of obesity, including a high concentration of fast food restaurants who are catering to the values they have chosen. The only way to ever help them is to reverse the strategy: focus on educating the people to change who they are being. Then, they will change what they do, and the restaurants will naturally follow after that. Any other strategy is insanity when held to the light of principles.
