Can principles be suspended or sacrificed?
AFP (Breitbard.com) | US President George W. Bush said in an interview Tuesday he was forced to sacrifice free market principles to save the economy from “collapse.”
“I’ve abandoned free-market principles to save the free-market system,” Bush told CNN television, saying he had made the decision “to make sure the economy doesn’t collapse.”
Bush’s comments reflect an extraordinary departure from his longtime advocacy for an unfettered free market, as his administration has orchestrated unprecedented government intervention in the face of a dire financial crisis.

Why not suspend free enterprise principles to save free enterprise? Lenin, Stalin and their disciples attempt to save communism by suspending those principles and allowing free enterprise to build up the national prosperity again before clamping back down on the people. Why can it not work in reverse? BRING ON THE COMMUNISM TO SAVE CAPITALISM! YIPPEE!!!
To save something you have to abandon it’s principles? That makes me laugh.
So, if we’re falling from a tall height, let’s just “abandon” gravity shall we?

When you continue to violate principles you guarantee eventual failure. I hope more people will learn this.
